East Brookfield – Edward J. Whalen Jr, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Monday July 20, 2020;

He is survived by his son Sean Whalen of Holden; his daughter Taylor K. Ludden of East Brookfield; his brother James Whalen and his wife Donna of Worcester; he also leaves many relatives and friends.

Edward was born in Worcester, MA on May 4, 1947 son of Edward J. Whalen Sr and Virginia (Brokawich) Whalen; he served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war.  Edward was a car enthusiast; he also enjoyed racing, model-making, and sports, his favorite team being the New England Patriots.

A Celebration of Edward's Life will be held on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm followed by a prayer service at 6:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home , 48 School Street Webster, MA.
