Elizabeth (Krisko) Pion returned to her heavenly father on June 28, 2014, at the age of 95, surrounded by her loving family.

Elizabeth's husband, Wallace Pion, passed away in 1962.  She leaves her daughter, Lisa (Pion) Genest and her husband Norm; two grandsons, Justin Genest and his wife Aiko of Brookfield, and Aaron Genest of Dudley; three great-grandchildren, Colby of Southbridge, and Noah and Misako of Brookfield; a special friend and caregiver, Melinda DeForge of Southbridge; two sisters, Irene Lechowicz and her husband Ted of Brookfield, and Regina Curley of Southampton, New Jersey; a brother,  Steve "Tib" Krisko and his wife Elizabeth of South Fork, Pennsylvania; her brother-in-law, Paul Pion of Waterville, Maine; two sisters-in-law, Laura Bouvier and Pauline Zalauskas of Spencer; many dear nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; friends at Accord Adult Day Care Center; neighbors at Laurel Ridge; and her precious cat "Cleopatra".

Elizabeth was born in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Annie (Hanchak) and Stephen Krisko.  Elizabeth remained in Pennsylvania to care for her five younger siblings upon her mother's early passing.  After her marriage, Elizabeth lived in Brookfield before joining her daughter and son-in-law in their military travels to Main, South Carolina, and Montana.  In 1982, she moved with her daughter and son-in-law to North Brookfield where she lived for 30 years.  Elizabeth was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

There are no calling hours.  Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
