Emily M. Meagher 1942-2025

Dudley – Emily M. (Minarik) Meagher, age 82, died Friday, January 10, 2025, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.

Emily was born in Webster, daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine (Beresik) Minarik.  She retired from K-Mart, where she worked as a cashier, greeter and in the plant department.  She enjoyed listening to music (especially Elvis), being outdoors by the lake (Pierpont), gardening, and  watching her grandchildren play all types of sports.  She was avid Chicago Bulls fan and adored Michael Jordan.  She also enjoyed watching professional soccer.

Emily was predecessor by her husband of 59 years, Thomas F. Meagher Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hamill and her husband Peter of Rye, NH, Tara Galante and her husband Daniel of Sterling, MA; and by her grandchildren, Jack, Maggie, Avery and Addison.

Family and friends are invited to a calling hour for Emily on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 22 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley.  Burial will follow in Saint Anthony's Cemetery, Webster.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the M.S.P.C.A. 350 SouthHuntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 or the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.  A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
