Evangelos "Vange" Giantsios, age 51, died Friday, June 20, 2014, after being stricken at home.

He leaves his parents, Stergios and Kiriaki (Jordanoglou) Giantsios, with whom he made his home; a brother, Anestis Giantsios of Harmony, FL; a sister, Maria Giantsios of Orlando, FL.

He was born in Serris, Greece and lived in Dudley most of his life. He was a graduate of Sheppard Hill High School, where he was a star player on the football team.  He worked with his father for years at Stanley Heating and Cooling in Dudley. He was also a roofer, working for a Boston based company.  He was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Webster and he enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Webster on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM, with a Trisagion service at 7 pm .  Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10 AM in the church.  Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the church.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home , 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
