Gary Napierata

Gary F. Napierata of Webster passed away peacefully, with family and friends by his side, on Friday September 4th 2026 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

He is survived by his siblings Deborah LeBel of Webster, Douglas Napierata and his wife of Webster, Darlene Cote and her life partner Paul Williams of Holden, and his best friend of many years, Peter Bannister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jay Lebel, and Keara and Noah of Florida. Laurie Napierata of Webster. Aimee Vera, and Andres, Bella and Nico of Leominster.

Gary received his BA from Loyola University of Los Angeles California. Teaching was his passion, and he was fondly known as Mr. Nap by the many students he taught and mentored at Bartlett High School for over 40 years. His school musical productions and plays were enjoyed by all.

In his earlier years he enjoyed playing and coaching tennis. He also had a vast knowledge of history and loved nothing more than to discuss and share historical and monetary facts and information. He was a brilliant mind, and a legend in his own time.

There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service is being held for the family.
