Millbury - George S. Gordon, age 88, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Millbury Health Care Center

His wife, the late Helen D. (Adamsky) Gordon died in 1997. His longtime companion, Catherine Martunas of Millbury died in March 2012. He is survived by two sons, Bruce W. Gordon of Borger, Texas and Jeffrey A. Gordon of Norton; a daughter, Susan C. Biloudeau of Charlton, three grandchildren, Brian P. Gordon of Fritch, Texas, Lisa R. Gordon of Borger, Texas, Cassia W. Gordon of Norton, and one great granddaughter Kaitlyn R.Swender of Borger, Texas.

He was born in New York City, NY, son of the late Stanley J. and Pauline (Mach) Gajkowski and lived in Auburn,Worcester, and Milbury for many years. He was a retired Sergeant First Class with the U.S. Army, serving in the Asian theater during World War II. After more than 20 years of military service, he was an Avionics Electronics Engineer for the U.S. Government and worked at Fort Devens.

His hobbies included travel, bowling, playing cribbage, and reading.

There are no calling hours. Private funeral services and burial will held in the Bourne National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
