Webster- Gerald E. Rideout age 82 died Tuesday April 7, 2015 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.  He leaves his beloved wife of 61 years, Norma A. (Labelle) Rideout.  He also leaves a son Jerry E. Rideout and his wife Anne of Chicopee, MA and two daughters Rhonda and her husband Paul Paradise of Woodstock, CT and Kim Rideout of Torrington, CT.  He also leaves a sister, Patricia Arthur of NH and one sister predeceased her, Shirley Perkins of NH.  He also leaves five  grandchildren and one great grandson.  He was born in Waite, Maine son of the late Edmond and Allison (Holmes) Rideout.  He was a US Army Korean War Veteran.  He was a retired engineer working in the Plastics industry for many years.  He enjoyed golf.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.  Services will be announced at a later date.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a memory or condolence.
