Harold R. Jacobson of 14 Old Worcester Road Oxford, passed away on December 27, 2022; he passed away peacefully at home with his friend Jimmy at his side.

Harold was born on December 5, 1934 in a log cabin on the family homestead in Midnight Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada; he came, with his family, to the United States in 1939.

Harold was predeceased by his parents Oscar J. and Aldina (Nolin) Jacobson, and his sister Viola Gubber; he leaves behind three brothers: Robert of Woodstock, CT, Lee of Worcester, MA, and Charles of Thompson, CT; he also leaves many nieces and cousins in the United States and Canada.

Harold worked for several construction companies, and retired from the Oxford School Department after twenty years; he served honorably in the United States Army for three years.   Harold enjoyed his family and playing cards, in younger days he enjoyed playing golf with his brothers.

Harold's family expresses their utmost gratitude to the Tri-Valley Services of Webster, and especially his devoted caregivers Avis and Diane.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services, private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
