Brookfield - Harold A. "Smitty" Smith, 73, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday September 28, 2014. Smitty is survived by his wife Shirley A. (Lavallee) Smith; three sons: Robert Smith of FL, Steven Smith of Spencer and Kevin Smith of North Brookfield; two daughters: Suzanne Smith of Brookfield and Eileen Dagostino of Holden ; one brother: Earl Smith of Rochdale; one sister: Carol Dodds of Spencer; Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; he was predeceased by four sisters: Connie McDonald, Betty Raymond, Mary McGee, and Dottie Otts.  Harold was an avid Hunter who greatly enjoyed honing his skills at target practice and was known for his love of Old Westerns and fireworks, but most of all the time he cherished with his loving family who will miss him dearly.  There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private; funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home 48 School St. Webster, MA.
