Hardwick/Ware- Heather D. Hay age 51 passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA.  She leaves her parents, John H. Hay and Carol A. (Ziemba) Hay of Hardwick, MA.  Heather also leaves a brother, John T. Hay of St. Augustine, Florida and a sister, Andrea Ben-Ezra Poughkeepsie, NY.

She was born in Lompac, CA and lived in Hardwick most of her life.  Heather earned her master's degree in Neuroscience from Worcester State College and a masters in writing from the University of Massachusetts.   Heather taught science and biology to the ninth and tenth grade at Ware High School; Her greatest joys were to be an educator and to travel.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
