Worcester – Henry Gutierrez, 52, passed away suddenly on Tuesday July 20, 2021 while at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Henry was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on October 17, 1968 son of Carmelo Gutierrez and Amalia Colon.  Henry worked as a baker for many years; he very much enjoyed baking, cooking, and being a practical joker by hiding things around the house from his mom.  Henry was always willing to lend a helping hand and he absolutely loved talking and making new friends.

Besides his parents, Henry leaves behind his brother Hector Ortiz of Worcester; his two sisters Janet Aponte and her husband Melvin of Worcester, and Wanda Alers and her husband Luis of East Hartford, CT; he also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

A Memorial Service celebrating Henry's life will be held at the Church Guardianes de la Fe, 188 Chandler Street Worcester, MA at 2:30 pm on Saturday August 7, 2021.
