Webster- Henry J. Polletta age 88 died Saturday, December 5, 2015. He leaves his wife of 65 years, Lorraine E. (Rekowski) Polletta; a brother, Louis Polletta of Webster; two sisters, Rose Silvestri and her husband John of Webster, Edith Oliosi of Buzzards Bay; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Alfred, Gurino, and Anthony and a sister, Mary Konicki. He was born in Webster, son of the late Vincent and Francesca (Pizzotti) Polletta and lived here all his life.  He was a World War II, U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for Coes Knife Company for many years.  He enjoyed tinkering, gardening and the casino. The funeral will be held from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 with a 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster.  Burial, with military honors will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, 6–8 PM.  Kindly omit flowers.  Donations may be made to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, Veterans Way, Webster, MA 01570.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.
