Henry E. Proctor, age 78, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester.

He leaves his wife, Valentina E. (Senuk) Proctor of Shrewsbury; two sons, Roger Proctor and Water Proctor; a daughter, Virginia Proctor and a grandson Tavian Santos, a step-daughter, Olga Trimmer and two step-grandchildren, Alex and Dima.

He was born in Boston, and raised in Hopkinton, son of the late Eugene and Ruth (Howard ) Proctor.  He lived most of his life in Marlborough, at his favorite underground earth home.  After moving to Mississippi in 2004, he then moved to Shrewsbury in 2006.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and  the Head of Maintenance for Digital Incorporated for over 25 years at the Hudson facility.  He enjoyed camping in Maine, mechanics and reading.  Henry was a very caring person that liked to help people whenever he could, always with a giant smile on his face.
