Herman J. Fersenheim Jr., age 95 of Webster, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.

He leaves a nephew, James O. Fersenheim of Webster; three nieces, Sally Donais of Dudley, Marion Wielock of Dudley and Nancy Przybylek of Webster.  He was predeceased by his brother, Otto E. Fersenheim of Webster.

Herman was born in Boston, son of the late Herman J. Sr. and Blanche (Horner) Fersenheim and lived in Woodstock Valley, CT most of his life.  He lived in Webster for the past year.  He was an office manager at Tatem Mills in Eastford, CT for many years.  He enjoyed woodworking.

A Military funeral will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 10:00 am in Saint Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Road, Ashford, CT.  Please meet directly at the church.  Burial, with military honors will follow in Saint Philip Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Philip the Apostle Church, Renovation Fund, 64 Pompey Hollow Road, Ashford, CT 06278.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
