Worcester - Hermes M. Hernandez, 53, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 4, 2019 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center with his loving wife and family by his side; He is survived by his wife: Carmen (Roman) Hernandez of Worcester; two sons: Jefferson and Christopher Hernandez, both of Worcester; he also leaves many relatives and friends. Hermes was born in San Salvador, El Salvador on March 29, 1966, son of the late Luis Hernandez and Edelmira Hernandez; he, along with his wife and children, have been devout members of the Bethsaida Pentecostal Church on Hawley Street in Worcester for many years. Hermes was a loving husband and caring father; he greatly enjoyed working with his hands, especially while building and repairing things at home. Hermes was a kind and generous man to everyone and anyone he came to meet; he will truly be missed by all who were so blessed to have known him. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday September 12, 2019 from 9:00 - 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am officiated by the Rev. Juan A. Rivera at the Lindquist-Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street Worcester, MA, under the direction of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home; Committal Services will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
