James V. Lomuscio, age 90, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at UMASS Memorial Health Care – University Campus, Worcester, surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife, Jacquline (Creasia) Lomuscio of Webster; a son, Vito J. Lomuscio of Danielson; four daughters, AnnMarie Annese of Webster, Debbie Rosebrooks of Oxford, Jacquline Desabre of Pomfret Center, CT, Toni A. Putnam of Putnam,CT;  a brother, Richard Sardano, of Toledo, OH; a sister, Ann Alongi of Woburn and 8 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin Lomus and by his sisters, Mary Smith, Frances Forciea and Agnes Mortz.

He was born in Boston, son of the late Vito and Antoinette (Sardano) Lamuscio and lived in Webster over 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran and was a self-employed truck driver and mechanic. He worked previously as a roofer for Burgess & Blacher of Boston, and was a member of the Teamster Local #25.

A military funeral will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster.  Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley.
