Dudley- James R. Soares age 58 died Tuesday, December 4, 2018.  He leaves his wife Julie E. (Norton) Soares.  Jim leaves a son, Scott Tirrell and a daughter Jacqueline Chandy.  He also leaves a step-son Nicholas Almond of Lincoln, RI a step-daughter Cassandra Beauregard and her husband Edward of Bellingham and three grandchildren, Victoria Almond and Hailey Lucas.  James also leaves brothers, Jose of Milford, Manuel of Whitinsville and John of Framingham, sisters, Valademira Pimentel of Fall River, Angie Ferreire of Northbridge, Aldina Newcomer of NC and Tina Smyth of CA.  He was born in Calheta, Portugal son of the late Nauel Soares and Maria (Muniz) Soares and lived in Dudley for the past eleven years prior to that living in Charlton.  James fomerly worked for General Dynamics as a Logistical Engineer.  He was a member of the Army National Guard.  One of his joys was his Harley.  Calling hours at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA will be Thursday Dec. 13, 2018. from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm with a graveside service with military honors at 1 pm, Corbin Cemetery, Dudley.  Please omit flowers and donations may be made in his memory to the Webster, Dudley Veteran Council, Webster, MA.  Burial with military honors will be private for the family in Corbin Cemetery, with military honors.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
