Jean A. (Kuchinskis) Standring, 78, of Dudley, died Monday, September 02, 2013, at home.

She leaves her daughter, Brenda J. Richford and her husband Richard of Dudley; a grandson, Joseph W. Gevry of Webster; two granddaughters, Arlene Richford and Kimberly Richford, both of Dudley.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Bernadette J. Standring of Webster; a brother, Richard Kuchinskis of Dudley and a sister, Patricia L. Saad of Dudley.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Olivia (DeBrule) Kuchinskis and lived in Oxford before moving to Dudley twenty years ago.  She was a retired Pharmaceutical Technician, having worked several years at McKesson, Inc.

Jean was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Webster and Dudley Senior Centers.  She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Mohegan Sun.  She enjoyed spending time at the Cape and staying at the Tides Motel.  She also enjoyed crocheting and playing pitch.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11 am in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster.  Burial will be in Saint Anthony Cemetery, Webster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Saturday morning from 9 to 11 am.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
