Worcester- Jean M. (Lester) Tashjian, 87, passed away on Monday august 24, 2020 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

Being predeceased by her husband, the late John Tashjian, Jean is survived by her son James Tashjian of Worcester; two daughters: Laura L. Tashjian of Greenfield, NH and Robyn DosSantos of Worcester; two brothers: John B. Lester of Worcester and Daniel Lester of Minot, North Dakota; five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Emily, Daniel, Timothy, and Patrick; four great-grandchildren: Joshua, Daniel, Francesca, and Christopher; she was predeceased by her son John "Jay" Tashjian Jr.

Jean was born in Worcester, MA on March 4, 1933, daughter of William J. and Mary J. (Kingus) Lester; she lived in Worcester all her life, working as a registered nurse for many years prior to her retirement.  Jean loved to knit for her family and friends. Jean was most happy when she was able to spend quality time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
