Jeanne C. (Cardinal) Grenier, of North Grosvenordale, wife of Jean P. Grenier, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2014, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in North Grosvenordale, daughter of the late Gerard & Adrienne (LaFleur) Cardinal.  Jeanne and Jean were united in marriage in 1962, and made their home in North Grosvenordale.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters and a son-in-law, Anita Richard of Dudley MA and Louise & Vincent Pugh of East Hampton CT.   Jeanne was most proud of her three grandchildren, Jenise Richard, Jean-Paul Richard and Shannon Pugh, whom she adored.  Jeanne also leaves behind her brothers, Morris Cardinal, Roger Cardinal and his wife Diane; a sister, Madeline Robidoux; her brother-in-law, Paul Grenier; sisters-in-law, Agnes Gaucher and Margaret Lafontaine, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. She was pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Paul Richard.

Friends and family of Jeanne may join in a funeral mass on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at Saint Joseph's Church, 15 Main Street, North Grosvenordale.  There are no calling hours.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Jeanne's name to St. Joseph's Church, 15 Main St. North Grosvenordale CT 06255.
