Hampden/Webster – John "John the Bricky" Chobot, 93, formerly of Webster, passed away on Friday October 21, 2022.

John was born in Willimantic, CT on March 24, 1929, son of the late Emil and Katie (Chowaniec) Chobot; he served honorably in active duty as a Private First Class in the United States Army from 1950 – 1952.  John was a mason by trade, working in the business for over seventy years.  John enjoyed antique cars and going to swap meets.

Being predeceased by his wife Eleanor (Pinckard) Chobot; John is survived by his daughters: Connie Gibeault and her spouse Michael  of CT, and Tammy Morris, and her spouse Matthew of PA; grandchildren: Daniel, Wyatt, Shannon and Gage Gibeault; great grandchildren Riley and Camden Gibeault.
