Plainfield - Jonathan E. Thomas, age 62, of Goshen Road, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Day Kimball Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 9 months, Cynthia J. (Calkins) Thomas of Plainfield; a step-son, Wayne Morse Jr. of Griswold; a step-daughter, Meghan Morse of Danielson; a step-grandson, Maxsim Morse; and many friends.  He was predeceased by a step-son, Scott Morse.

Jonathan was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, son of the late Lawrence B. and Mariella (Warriner) Thomas.  He worked for the State of Connecticut.  He was a friend of Bill and had a love for  music.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 122 Chaplin Road, Eastford, CT., beginning at 1 pm.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is directing arrangements.
