Worcester – Jorge Ramos Sr, 62, entered eternal rest on Monday July 5, 2021.

Jorge was born in San German, Puerto Rico on September 15, 1958, son of Jose and Maria (Rosario) Ramos; he lived in Worcester for most of his life working as a carpenter for over fifteen years, belonging to the N.E. Regional Council of Carpenters Local 107.  Prior to living in Worcester, Jorge lived in Chicago for several years where he worked as a math teacher. Jorge was a man of deep faith who dedicated his life to following Christ's example of humble service and loving all people; he served as a Pastor in Marlborough and in Puerto Rico for several years and instilled in his sons the deep love he had for all people; helping others was Jorge's true passion; he would often be found visiting the sick, ministering to those who needed to hear a good word, and being there for people during their darkest hours.  Jorge touched countless lives and left an everlasting impression on everyone he met, knew, and loved.

Jorge will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Maribel (Sanchez) Ramos, to whom he has been wed for forty years; his two loving sons: Jorge "Junito" Ramos Jr. of Worcester and Joel Ramos of Southbridge; his nine beautiful grandchildren: Tatiana, Serina, Denediel, Isaiah, Destiny, Aryana, Adrian, Angel, and our newest blessing Anayah; his brothers: Efrain, Carlos Rafael, Faustino, Jose Luis, Saul, Orlando, Jaime, and Luis Angel Ramos; his sisters: Nathaly, Nilda, and Maria Ramos he also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

All are welcome to attend calling hours on Friday July 16, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lindquist-Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street Worcester, MA under the direction of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at the Lindquist-Lundin Funeral Home at 10:00 am; Committal will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
