Webster- Jose M. Perez, age 96, died Sunday, August 7, 2016, at UMASS Memorial Healthcare Center, Worcester. He was the husband of the late Crucita J. (Jimenez) Perez who died in 2005.  He leaves three daughters; Amanda Ramirez of Webster, Julia Ramirez of New York, and Christina Ramirez of Puerto Rico; two brothers, Plinio and Osvaldo Perez of Puerto Rico; a sister, Elsie Perez of Puerto Rico; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico and lived here since 1999.  He was a chef and worked in area restaurants.  He was a U.S Army Veteran serving in World War II.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster from 11 AM- 1PM.  Burial will be in Puerto Rico.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may light a candle or post a message of condolence.
