Joseph E. Doucette

1958 - 2025

Putnam – Joseph E. Doucette, 66, of Park St., died Monday morning, February 10, 2025, at Day Kimball Hospital.  He was the loving husband of the late Cheryl (Burke) Doucette.  Born in South Carolina, he was the son of the late Ernest J. and Blanche (Curran) Doucette.

Mr. Doucette worked as a fabricator at Nutmeg in Putnam, prior to that he was a truck driver.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Maegan Congdon and her husband Raymond Reine of Bolton, CT; his grandson, Justin Spaulding of Danielson, CT; His siblings, William Doucette and his wife Connie of Nederland, TX, Mark Doucette of Danielson, CT, Sandra Barrows and her husband Keith of Putnam, Ruth Carter and her husband Donald of Jewett City, CT, Rhonda Young of Danielson, CT, and Patti Hurm of Thompson, CT, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Doucette and his sister, Sue Parker.
