Danielson, CT- Joseph R. LaPointe age 89 died Saturday, July 25, 2015.  He leaves two sisters, Doris Adams of Brooklyn, CT and Bernice wife of Joseph Malone of Danielson.  He had a sister that predeceased him, Mary Adamona of Willimantic and a brother that predeceased him, Robert Lapointe of Putnam. He was born in Putnam, CT son of the late Joseph L. and Cornelia (Gibney) LaPointe and lived in the area most of his life.  He was a millworker for many years, and he also was a butcher at the A + P. He enjoyed fishing and guitar music.  There are no calling hours.  All services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of donors choice.
