Obituary

Webster- Joseph M. Ondrasek, age 86, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in Harrington Hospital, Southbridge. He leaves three sons, Paul Ondrasek of Webster, John Ondrasek and his wife Irene of Webster,  David Ondrasek and his wife Renee of Thompson, CT; a sister, Jennie Benoit of Webster and six grandchildren.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Martin and Emelia (Mikalaj) Ondrasek and lived here all his life. He was a World War II, U.S. Army Veteran.  He was retired from Shepherd Hill Regional High School, where he worked as a custodian.  He was a member of the Webster-Dudley American Legion and the Slovak Sokol.  He loved to dance, especially Polkas.

The funeral will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley. Burial, with military honors performed by the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday morning 8:00- 9:30 AM.  Please omit flowers.  Donations may be made to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, 4 Veterans Way, Webster, MA 01570.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com
