Josephine R. Urich

1923 - 2025

East Brookfield – Josephine R. (Gwizdala) Urich, 102, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at The Meadows Health Care Center.  She was the loving wife of the late Louis Urich, Sr.  Born in Thompson, CT, she was the daughter of the late Antoni and Joanna (Karnas) Gwizdala.

Mrs. Urich worked for many years at Rom's Restaurant as a waitress.

Josephine enjoyed drawing, sewing, and adult coloring books.

She is survived by her son, Louis Urich, Jr. and his wife Lori of East Brookfield; her granddaughter, Brandi Waite of Dudley and her great grandson Michael Biando of Dudley. She was predeceased by her five siblings, Antoni Gwi9zdala, Michael Gwizdala, Mary Freelove, Victoria Reich, and Nellis Kata.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service in Holy Trinity Cemetery, 136 New Boston Rd., Dudley, MA, on Fridat, October 31, 2025 @ 11:00AM.
