Woodstock, CT- Joy M. Freeman age 52 passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.  She leaves her father Arthur J. Freeman of Pomfret Center, CT.

She was born in Putnam, CT daughter of Arthur J. Freeman and the late Natalie A. (Racine) Freeman and lived in the area most of her life.  Joy was a registered nurse and worked in the health field specializing as a psych nurse.  Joy was a graduate of Woodstock Academy; she earned her Bachelor's from Anna Maria College and her Master's in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Friday June 17, 2022 in St. Joseph's Church, 16 Main Street North Grosvenordale, CT.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
