Joyce Ellen Davis 1942-2024

North Grosvenordale - Joyce Ellen (Hetu) Davis left this earth on December 7, 2024 at the age of 82.  Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was born in Putnam on March 24, 1942, grew up in Pomfret and graduated from Putnam High School in 1960. She enjoyed golfing with her husband Harry while residing in Ogunquit ME and Leesburg FL.  Joyce was an avid reader and also a prolific quilter, making many for her family that they will cherish for generations.

Joyce is survived by her daughters Dawn Reynolds and her husband Scott and Cheryl Nuttall and her husband Daniel, her grandchildren, Christopher, Cory, Thomas, Kathryn, Julianna, Lindsay and great grandchildren, Sheamus, Jada, Jahzi, Brooke, Sapphire, and Maayliah.  She also leaves behind her siblings, Arthur Benway of Pomfret,CT, Ronald Hetu of St. Louis, MO, Donna Olsen of Putnam, CT, Patricia Wing of Putnam, CT, Richard Muldoon of Gray, KY and her 5 nephews, Artie Benway, Jimmy Tourtellotte, Dean, Todd, and Craig Gould.  Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Harry L. Davis and her brother, Gregory Hetu.

Joyce was a member of the Abington Congregational Church. She will be deeply missed.
