Bolton- On March 19, 2016 Judith (Genest) Schwerdt's decade long "adventure with cancer" concluded at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She leaves two daughters, Michelle Foulis and her husband David Foulis of Sturbridge, MA and Rebecca Earlewine of Sewickley, PA and four grandchildren; Rose Foulis, Grace Foulis, Hayden Earlewine and Sydney( Boo) Earlewine. Her sister Allegra Genest predeceased her.
She was born in Lowell, MA on January 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Raymond and Rose (Smeltzer) Genest and lived in Bolton most of her life. She enjoyed her involvement with the Poodle Club of Massachusetts, Tufts Alumni Council, gardening, and she was truly passionate about cooking. She worked most of her career as a recruiter for McInturff & Associates. She loved to travel, and enjoyed trips to Canada, Europe, China, Russia and two amazing safaris in Africa. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at the Bethlehem Chapel at Brandeis University on Saturday, April 16th at 1pm followed by a reception.
