Julie D. Wunsch

1969 - 2025

Webster – Julie D. Wunsch, 56, of Prospect St., died Wednesday morning, February 19, 2025, at home after battling chronic illness and breast cancer. Born in Webster, she was the daughter of Edward Wunsch Sr. of Webster and the late Jeanne L. (Jeffrey) Wunsch.

Julie worked in the cafeteria at the Park Avenue Elementary School at the time of her passing. Prior to working at Park Avenue, she had worked in the cafeteria at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton, driving school buses for Charlton Middle School, and delivering meals to the elderly. Julie wore many hats in her lifetime and blessed many with her presence.

Julie enjoyed traveling to warm, tropical locations whenever she could. She also adored her two cats, Peanut and Domino. Julie is best known for having a big heart and being a strong shoulder to lean on for those in need. From her lighthearted jokes to her excellent cooking, Julie will be missed by many for decades to come.

Julie is survived by her father, Edward Wunsch Sr. of Webster; her son, Zachary Helgerson and his wife Brittany of Oakham; her two brothers, Edward Wunsch Jr. and his wife Pamela of Douglas and Randy Wunsch and his wife Susan of Brimfield, many dear nieces and nephews, and beloved friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Jeanne Wunsch, and sister, Laurette LeCour.
