Rutland- June A. (Collins) Kane -- of Rutland,MA , ​passed away peacefully on April  24,2018.​ She leaves her Husband Edward H. Kane Jr. of Rutland, MA. her seven children. Sandra Ackerman of Rutland, Susan Johnson of Holden,Cynthia Merchant of Holden, Steven Kane of Omaha, Nebraska, Robin Houde of Shrewsbury, , Brian Kane of Barre, and Holly Kane of Barre, ​seventeen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She leaves a sister, Christine Gaffney of Worcester, along with several nieces and nephews.  She joins in Heaven her grandson Samuel J. Kane, her Brother Edward M. Collins, her sister Helen Hamilton, her mother Denige (Collins) Alacoski. A funeral Mass will be held  Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10 am, St. Patrick Church, Main St., Rutland, MA. Burial will be private for family only.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the JHC Hospice, 629 Salisbury St. , Worcester, MA.
