Kelly A. Goodney-Germain 1968-2025
Kelly Ann Goodney-Germain 1968 – 2025
Kelly Ann Goodney-Germain, age 57 formerly of Auburn, passed peacefully on her 57th birthday, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at UMASS Memorial Health Care – University Campus, Worcester.
Kelly was the daughter of the late John and Beverly (LaMere) Goodney and grew up in Auburn. She was a 1986 graduate of Auburn High School and was a cheerleader there for multiple sports.
For over 30 years, Kelly was a bartender. She worked most recently at Waterfront Mary's in Webster. She loved the lake life, loved her lake friends and living on the lake. She enjoyed playing golf and was very artistic, which was evident in her drawings and paintings. She enjoyed cooking in her spare time. Music, dancing, family and friends made Kelly happy and she was known to all as always being right! Kelly loved spending time with her daughter, granddaughter and family whom she loved more than anything in this world.
In 2006, Kelly was united in marriage to her best friend, Patrick Germain. They were married for seven years, until his passing. Patrick was a Worcester firefighter and Kelly was most proud of him and loved him very much.
Kelly is survived by her daughter, Alyxxandria "Aly" Carron and her companion, Nickleus Bibeau of Southbridge; a brother, Mark Goodney and his companion Jeffrey Garseau of Worcester; two sisters, Traci Trudell of Spencer and Lee Goodney and her companion Danny L. of Webster, (with whom Kelly lived). She was the beloved "GiGi" to her granddaughter, Kaelyn Rosario. In addition, she cherished her nieces, Olivia Trudell, Lexi Grill and her companion Cody Bovaird; and her nephew, Michael Trudell; many cousins, and other relatives, as well as many very close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kelly's family on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon), in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremations, 48 School Street, Webster.
