Lee Elaine
(Boucher) Ryan
d. Nov 6, 2013
Lee Elaine (Boucher) Ryan, age 68 of West Brookfield/Charlton. Lee Elaine Ryan was granted her angel wings on November 06, 2013 after an extensive illness. She spent her final months tenderly being cared for at Overlook Masonic Home.
She is survived by her parents, Victor and Janet (Smith) Boucher of West Brookfield; her sister, Sandra and her husband Donald Coutu of Southbridge; her brother, Victor E. Boucher and his wife Brenda of Brookfield. She leaves three nieces whom she considered her children, Debra St. Laurent of Sturbridge, Nancy Pecore of Charlton, her Godchild, Tracey Savoie of Sturbridge and 8 great nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School and later worked at the former Yankee Workshop in Sturbridge and also for Dr. Dupont in Webster. Before retiring due to her illness, Elaine owned Hot Tubs by Lee in Southbridge and in her healthier years, she loved to travel extensively to South America and magical islands with the love of her life Michael Ryan, who was always by her side and in her heart. She enjoyed many crafts and family gatherings.
Elaine was a Survivor in every way. Here true appreciation of life, strong desire to live and adventure for fun helped her through all her challenges. Her mental strength made up for her physical weaknesses. She always had a smile for everyone she met and a laugh that was contagious. For all that loved and had the pleasure of living life with Elaine, we find comfort in knowing that she is enjoying her new life in Paradise!
