Dudley- Leila K. Lengacher age 66 died Thursday, November 13, 2014.  She leaves 3 sisters, Bethene and her husband Kenneth Guarnieri of Webster, Janet and her husband Lorin Smith of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Nyla Lengacher of Austin, Texas.  She also leaves a brother Milton and his wife Deana Lengacher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and she had 2 brothers that predeceased her, Darcy Lengacher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Lydell Lengacher of Sacramento, CA. She was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana daughter of the late Mervin and Verna (Stauffer) Lengacher and lived in Dudley for the past 15 years, prior to that living in Thompson, CT and Manhattan, NY.  She practiced law in Manhattan, NY for 18 years, then giving law up for a simpler life. She then worked at Gentex in Dudley for 14 years.  She was a animal activist and was very involved with Animal rescue and shelters.  She volunteered her time at the Dudley Library.
