Leocadia "Lottie" (Moninski) Bembenek, age 81, of Dudley, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

Her husband, Vincent J. Bembenek, died in 1999.  She leaves a son, Ronald Bembenek and his wife Louise of Dudley; three daughters, Debbie Barrett and her husband Mark of Thompson, Cindi Groh and her companion, Brian Tittle of Thompson, Kathi Lauzon and her husband George of Dudley; two brothers, Anthony Moninski of Webster and Charles Moninski of Maine; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.  She was predeceased by a son, James B. Bembenek of Dudley in 2007 and by a brother, Eugene Moninski of Dudley.

Lottie was born in Dudley, daughter of the late Anthony and Frances (Krupinski) Moninski and lived in Dudley all her life.  She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church in Dudley and the Holy Rosary Sodality.  She enjoyed being with her family, knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, West Main Street, Dudley.  Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, January 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
