Thompson, CT- Leon L. Shippee age 96 passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 at Davis Place, Danilson, CT.  He leaves his wife Frances I. (Chase) Shippee, he also leaves two sons, Dr. Ronald L. Shippee and Karen Marie Wolcott of Maryland, Glenn Shippee of Ohio and Timothy Shippee of Danielson, three granchildren and one great grandchild.

He was born in Danielson, Ct son of the late Leon and Ruth Shippee and lived her most of his life.  Leon owned and operated Shippee Pools.  He was a member of the Masons in Thompson.  One of his joys was fishing.

There are no calling hours and all services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Grove St., Cemetery, Putnam, CT.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.
