Leonard E. Wielock, age 92 of Quinebaug, CT died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at home.

His wife of 60 years, Barbara A. (Ritchotte) Wielock died July 28, 2011.

Lenny was born in Dudley, MA, son of the late Michael and Catherine (Mangan) Wielock and lived in the Dudley-Quinebaug area all his life.  He was a Connecticut State Police Officer, retiring in 1984 after 33 years of service.  He was a Senior Inspector for the States Attorney Office in Tolland County.

He was a member of the Quinebaug V.F.W. and the American Legion in Grosvenordale.  Lenny was a United States Army veteran having served in Africa, Sicily and Italy.

The funeral, with military honors, will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Stephen's Church, Quinebaug.  Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
