Lillian M. (Ruell) Germain, age 86, of East Brookfield, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at home.

She leaves her husband, David N. Germain of East Brookfield; two daughters, Bobbi M. Germain of Brimfield and Davida L. Germain of East Brookfield; a granddaughter, Michelle Palmer of Brimfield; several step-sisters.  She was predeceased by a son, Charles G. Hoffman and by a brother, George Ruell.

Lillian was born in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Philip and Grace (Barrett) Ruell.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed shopping and was an avid New York Yankees fan.

There are no calling hours.  Funeral services are private.  Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Joseph Church, Main Street, North Grosvenordale, CT 06255.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com
