Quinebaug, CT- Linda L. (Drugan) Pickering, age 73, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William D. Pickering;  a son, William D. Pickering Jr. of Charlton; two daughters, Michelle C. Piekarczyk and her husband Scott of Dudley, Deborah Fasold and her husband Keith of Grafton; a brother, Richard Drugan of Bourne, MA; two sisters, Claire Burroughs of Holliston and Evelyn McDonald of Framingham; nine grandchildren  She was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Drugan of Natick.

She was born in Natick, daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Cornoni) Drugan.  She was a long time resident in Westborough,  She also had lived in the Villages in Florida before moving to Quinebaug, CT three years ago.  She worked previously for the Town of Westborough in the Building Department.  She was a New England Patriots fan, enjoyed knitting, quality time with her family and horses.

There are no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main Street, North Oxford, MA.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
