Southbridge – Linda M. McGinnis, age 54, died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at home.

She leaves a son, Thomas "TJ" Edwards Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Wainscott-Edwards of Southbridge; seven brothers, Richard Hillman of Warren, MA., Wayne Poirier of Sun Valley, CA., Samuel Goodhue of Worcester, MA., Thomas Contonio of Harwick, MA., Peter Contonio of Haverhill, MA., Daniel Contonio of Rutland, MA. and John Contonio of Columbus, OH.; two sisters, Carol Davis and Sharon Leszek, both of Candler, NC; three grandchildren, Kassidy & Zoe Edwards of Leominster, MA and Christopher Edwards of Southbridge, MA.; several nieces and nephews.

Linda was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Theresa Poirier and lived in Webster before moving to Southbridge in 2009.  She was a certified nurses assistant.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved cats and photography.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for pet care to the Here Today Sanctuary ( www.heretodaysanctuary.org )  P.O.
