Thompson/Woodstock - Louis J. Desrosiers,  age 87, died Saturday, June 08, 2013 at the Masonic Care, Wallingford, CT.

He leaves three sons, Louis Desrosiers of Strurbridge, Joseph Desrosiers of Thompson and Richard Desrosiers of Woodstock; a daughter, Sandra Bickford; four sisters, Lorraine Fielding of Arizona, Claire Reed of California, Elva Smith of Millbury and Barbara Montville of Arizona, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Louis H. and Elva M. (Maynard) Desrosiers and lived in Thompson most of his life, moving to Woodstock last year.  He was retired from Johnson Construction Company, where he worked as a blaster.  He was a World War II, U.S. Navy veteran.

There are no calling hours. Burial and services will be private in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com
