Southbridge- Lynus C. Bessette Sr., age 57, died Friday, July 15, 2016, at this home. He leaves a son, Lynus Bessette Jr. of Southbridge; two daughters, Jennifer Shocik of Southbridge and Tiffaney Bessette of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren; many brothers and sisters.  He was predeceased by two daughters, Heather and Tracy. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard and Helen (McKay) Bessette and lived in Webster and Southbridge most of his life.  He owned and operated Smiley's Taxi Service in Southbridge. Calling hours will be held in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a prayer service at 5:30 pm.  Omit flowers and donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a memory or condolence.
