North Grosvenordale, CT - Marie Anita Grenier, age 65, sadly passed away after a long illness on December 9,2020, in St. Vincent Hospital with her niece Aimee' by her side.
Marie was born in Webster, MA to Aime and Yvette (LeBoeuf) Grenier (deceased) and resided in
North GrosvenorDale, CT her whole life.
Marie is survived by her sister and brother in law: Diane and Michael Goyette of Putnam, Ct and their two sons and families: Christopher, Kyle, Hayden and Evan of Norwich, CT and Thomas, Ashley, Emma and Easton Goyette of Putnam, CT. Sister: Rita Grenier of Chesterfield, England. Sister: Patricia Grenier of North GrosvenorDale, CT, Sister and brother in law: Anne and Donald Donais of Woodstock, CT. Sadly, our brother David Grenier of North GrosvenorDale, CT passed away early this year but he left 3 angels, his daughter Aimee Griffin and her two sons Austin and Jason Authier Jr of North GrosvenorDale, CT and their father Jason Authier Sr. of Putnam, CT. Marie is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Marie took on the role of Matriach of the family after our parents passed. She showed nothing but love and understanding to all of her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and was touched her kind soul.
Marie's work career was diverse. She worked as a glass packer at Glass Container. When Glass Container closed, she then worked as a Computer Training Instructor at Computer Training of America. Her final job before her illness was a Payroll Clerk at Veterans, Inc.
Marie enjoyed Dr Who, Teen Titans Go, crossword puzzles, computer games, reading and changing the ending of a movie to make them all end the way she thought they should.
There will be no calling hours but a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be scheduled in the Spring 2021. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
Donations can be made to the American Kidney Fund ( www.kidneyfund.org ) in her memory.
