Southbridge – Marie A. (LaFleche) LaBonte, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 29, 2021 while at the Southbridge Rehabilitation Healthcare Center.

Marie was born in Southbridge, MA on June 1, 1932, daughter of the late Alfred and Cecilia (Perron) LaFleche; she lived in Southbridge all her life, working for Russell-Harrington for many years prior to her retirement.  Marie very much enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing scratch-tickets.  Marie loved traveling to the beaches at Cape Cod with her beloved family and friends.

Being predeceased by her husband, the late Edmond LaBonte, Marie will be deeply missed by her sons Robert LaBonte and his companion Lee of South Carolina, and Dennis LaBonte and his wife Wendy of Southbridge; three grandchildren: Becca, Kayla, and Andrew; her great-grandson Jeremiah; she also leaves her sister Anita Prunier of Oxford, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.  Marie was predeceased by three sisters: Albina Addington, Claire Perry, and Theresa Langlois; six brothers: Paul, Emil, Richard, Robert, Alfred, and Andy LaFleche.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
