Southbridge - Marion C. (Comesky) Hesselgrave age 92 died Tue Nov. 11, 2014 at the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care in Southbridge.  She was the wife of the late James Hesselgrave who died in 1989.  She leaves 2 daughters, Sarah A. Swift of Holland, MA and Faith H. Ferguson of Greenfield, Indiana, she also had 2 sons that predeceased her; J. Curtis Hesselgrave of Encinitas, CA and David O. Hesselgrave of Sumter SC.  She also leaves a sister, Ruth Hayes of Orleans, MA, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was born in South Nyack, NY daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Coleman) Comesky prior to that living in Camden, Maine and Valley Cottage NY.  She was a school teacher and taught in Valley Cottage Elementary School in NY.  She was a member of the Audubon Society, and life long lover of books and cooking.  She did much hospital volunteer work.  There are no calling hrs and all services and burial will be private and held at a later date in the Grace Episcopal Church, Nyack, NY.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., was entrusted with the arrangements.
