Gardner - Marion E. (Osgood) Mackie, age 85, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Life Care Center of Leominster. She was the wife of the late Chester Mackie, who died in 2000. She leaves two sons, Chester J. Mackie of Salem, NH. and David M. Mackie of Northbridge; four daughters, Linda M. Ehrets of Ashburnham, Jennifer Brown of Winchendon, Joy Lamont of Grantham, NH and Laurie Faxon of Salem, NH; a brother, William Osgood of California; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was born in San Diego, California and lived in Sudbury before moving to Gardner ten years ago. She was formerly employed by Raytheon. There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial are private. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
