Obituary

Webster- Maryann (Spitz) Higgins age 79 died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare - University Campus, Worcester.

She was the wife of the late Dean P. Higgins, who died in 2001. She leaves two sons, Robert J. and John P. Higgins, both of Webster, two daughters, Karen C. Higgins of Webster, Kathleen and her husband Jeffrey Greene, and a grand daughter Megan Greene, all of North Grosvenordale; a sister, Joanne Dudek of Chandler AZ.

She was born in Webster, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Ondrasek) Spitz and lived here all her life. She was a clerk for many years at the Bartlett Insurance Company in Webster. She enjoyed quality time with her granddaughter Megan. She enjoyed, music, playing the piano and oil painting.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley, MA with calling hours prior to the funeral beginning at 8:30 AM. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNA Hospice of Southern Worcester County.
