Mendon- Matthew J. Creasia age 79 died Monday, March 28, 2016 at the UMASS Memorial Healthcare Center Hospital, Worcester.  He leaves 4 brothers; Francis, Louis and James of Bellingham and John of N. Smithfield, RI, 4 sisters, Vera Cassanelli of Milford, Jacqueline Lomuscio of Webster, Mary Braccio of Southborough and Theresa Twist of Franklin.  He also had 2 brothers that predeceased him, Nick and Joseph and a sister, Eleanor Hurd.  He also leaves many nieces and nephews.  He was born in Uxbridge son of the late Nicholas and Teresa (Merollis) Creasia and lived in Mendon most of his life.  He was a US Army Korean War Veteran.  He was retired from General Motors where he worked as a electrician.  He was a member of the Mendon American Legion.  There are no calling hours.  A Mass will be held Sat. April 9, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, Webster and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Uxbridge.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com
